QR codes are digital codes that evolved from bar codes. In this context we can say they are the next generation of the bar code or simply bar code next gen. As many would recall fondly how the bar codes changed the shape and face of the manufacturing and product industry the use of QR code is no different. The Cell phone and the Mobile phone industry is the most excited about the future of the QR codes and its implementation for the marketing purposes. It is widely believed in the industry that the use of QR code marketing will be go much beyond the apparent technological breakthrough in churning out cash or revenues for those who use it effectively.
